The characters, Calum and Sasha first appeared in my erotic story, “Seriously Sexy”. This is their own story.
“So, what are we going to do with ourselves now, huh?” asked the man-whore, Calum. He glanced across at me expectantly, his bright blue eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Nothing, I’m going home,” I replied and started to move towards the exit.
The smile fell from his lips. “Hey wait.” He put his hand on my arm, his grip surprisingly firm.
He and I were standing next to a bar table, far away from the dance floor of my favourite nightclub, Halo. The music was marginally quieter here and we could just about hold a conversation without shouting.
I had just seen my best friend Grace, dragged off by the seriously sexy Josh. I had no idea where they were going, but I knew that nothing was going to stop Grace from following him. The chemistry between those two was so hot, that even my panties got damp watching them kiss.
Grace has always been the thoughtful, serious one out of the two of us and she was extremely picky with men. I have never seen her kiss a guy she has only just met, so I knew by her reaction that something life changing was happening between her and Josh.
Unfortunately, it left me babysitting Calum. A little boy trapped inside a man’s body. Yes, it was a very delectable body, but his questionable behaviour this evening had me on high alert. I had seen him eyeing up all the women in a bar and make rather degrading comments about their appearances and I heard from Grace that he had also called her “plain” which rather upset me. Anyone who knew Grace, really knew her would never call her that, which made me think that Calum was a rather shallow human being.
He continued to hold my arm and I waited for him to let go, but instead he leaned close to my ear, his warm breath tickling the side of my cheek.
“You told Grace that I’ll take you home. I want to make sure you get back safely.”
I looked up at his face. He was staring at me rather seriously, his full lips pressed into a thin line. In my high heels, I stood at five feet eight inches tall, but Calum was well over six feet and towered over me. His usual cheeky expression was gone and I was surprised to find my defenses crumbling a little. This protective side of him was definitely more appealing.
“Relax Calum, I wasn’t serious about you taking me home. I just wanted Grace to go with Josh. I’m fine to get a taxi by myself.”
I shrugged his hand off my arm and started moving towards the exit.
“Sasha!” He yelled and I jolted to a stop. I wanted to keep walking, but the good manners drummed into me since birth, made me respond automatically and so I found myself turning around.
I sighed heavily, “What is it?”
“Don’t go yet.” He looked a little lost and unsure.
Well, dammit! I was a sucker for a lost puppy.
“Stay and have a drink with me…please? I owe you that at least, after what happened earlier.”
Oh dear God, he said please.
Calum saw me hesitate and a small smile tugged at his lips. He reached out to take my arm before I could make my escape. He knew he had won.
“Fine. Just one drink.”
Against my better judgement, I allowed him to lead me back towards the bar.
“What would you like?” he asked politely.
“Vodka and tonic, please.” He raised one eyebrow, then gave a slight nod and left me to order at the bar.
I stood by the side and checked him out quite blatantly. He was physically very attractive and even though I went for personality when it came to the men I dated, it didn’t stop me from admiring his very fine form.
Calum was without a doubt, handsome and sexy as hell. He looked like a male beachwear model, with his shaggy blond hair, broad shoulders and impressive stature. He had removed the black jacket he had been wearing and his white shirt stretched nicely across his sculpted back. I glanced further down his body and noticed how fine his butt looked in his charcoal pants.
Stop it, Sasha, I lectured myself silently. Don’t go there.
I have never been into playboys and if I’m honest, I was more drawn to the silent, brooding types like Josh. I have always believed I needed someone more serious and quieter to balance out my fun and sassy personality. That is why Grace and I are such good friends. We complement each other and I wanted the same with a male partner.
No, I decided, shaking my head. Calum and I would never be a good match and not just because he acted like a total jerk earlier.
I watched him walk over with our drinks – one glass tumbler holding my vodka and tonic, the other filled with an amber liquid.
“Shall we go somewhere quieter so we can talk?” He asked, hopefully.
I was feeling agreeable and nodded, “Sure. Where shall we sit?”
“What about downstairs, in the chill out zone?” he suggested.
I have never been there with Grace, as we preferred to dance the night away, but if Calum wanted to talk, then eryaman bayan escort I guess it was the best place to go, since it was much quieter. We headed towards the exit, walking almost side by side and went down the stairs to the next level.
The chill out zone was a very cool, relaxed area with soul music playing in the background. The room was dim, and had a sexy, sophisticated vibe going on. There were dark grey sofas and smaller grey chairs dotted around, with black tables that held muted square, glass lights. There was a mahogany wooden bar running down one length of the room with wooden bar stools, most of which were occupied with guests, nursing their drinks and talking.
There was still a very lively atmosphere, with small groups and couples sat around the tables. I also spotted a small dance floor in the middle of the room, where a few couples swayed to the music.
It took some time for us to find spare seats, but Calum managed to grab a small table and a two-seater sofa when another couple left. Once we had sat down, he turned towards me and started talking immediately.
“I owe you an apology.”
“You don’t owe me anything,” I replied curtly, “you haven’t done anything to upset me. It’s Grace you need to apologise to and she’s not here.”
He ran his fingers through his already tousled hair, making it even messier. His expression looked slightly pained.
“Yes, you’re right. I will apologise when I next see her, but please can you let me explain?”
I sat back on the sofa, sipping my drink and eyed him with suspicion. I wondered what lies he was about to spout.
“Josh and I have been buddies since college. He ended a long-term relationship about a year ago and I’ve been trying to get him back in the game. Earlier this evening, I was trying to hook him up, to break him out of his dry spell, but he wasn’t feeling it. I know I said some despicable things, but it was mostly to wind Josh up. I honestly don’t think that way about women. Christ, I have three sisters! They would kick my balls if they knew how I have spoken about the women tonight. I didn’t mean to be so disrespectful.” He hung his head in shame.
I mulled over what he said and looked at his body language, to see if he was being sincere or was merely trying to get in my good books.
“Ok, apology accepted.” I gave him my first genuine smile of the evening.
He let out a long breath, relief marking his face and he grinned back, relieved. When he smiled, his face looked very appealing and I could even see dimples in his cheeks, which gave him a mischievous, boyish look.
“Thank you. I’ve been a bit nervous approaching you all evening and that isn’t like me at all. You can be quite intimidating, Sasha,” he admitted.
Hmmm, I thought to myself, so I unnerved him. I seemed to have that effect on most guys, but not usually the confident, cocky ones like Calum. I was quite intrigued by his revelation and any lingering traces of anger I felt towards him evaporated.
“I don’t want to hear any more of your shitty comments about women and I’ll keep you company until my drink is finished.”
I held out my hand to him.
He gave me one of his trademark cheeky smiles and took my hand. “Truce.”
His handshake was firm and his fingers warm. I felt a pleasant tingle in my stomach. Without letting go of my hand, his thumb slowly stroked circles across the back of it.
Oh, hello. His flirty behaviour was back and I felt the full magnetic force of his male attention. I snatched my hand back. A tingle meant nothing, I told myself.
To break the mood, I blurted out the first thing I could think of.
“Tell me about your sisters.”
He rolled his eyes at me. “They’re annoying as hell and they make fun of me whenever they can because I’m the only boy.”
“I like them already,” I laughed.
His voice softened as talked about his sisters. It was obvious from his expression that he cared a great deal about them.
“The oldest is Jamie. She’s thirty-four years old and likes being the oldest as she is super bossy. Next is Jenny, who is thirty-two. She is the most placid one of us all. Finally, there’s Natasha who is twenty-eight and a real party animal. I’m thirty – in case you were wondering.”
“Wow, you’re all so close in age. Do you look similar?”
“Yeah, I guess we do. We all have fair hair and blue eyes. I think that’s why I like brunettes so much,” he said with a teasing smile and stared pointedly at my chestnut brown hair.
His flirting was having a strange effect on me and I felt butterflies start in my stomach.
“Do you have any siblings?” he asked.
“Nope. Just me, but Grace is like my sister.”
“I can tell you two are close. It’s hard to approach girls when they are wrapped up in their own conversations. It’s the same at home with my sisters.”
“I wish I had more siblings – not that Grace isn’t enough,” I added quickly, “it just seems like a lot of fun to have people to talk to all the time and share escort etimesgut things with.”
“I’ll share my sisters with you, if you’d like. Sometimes it’s overwhelming having all that estrogen in the house. They like to gang up on me.”
“I bet they do, but you must know a lot about females,” I said, wiggling my eyebrows at him.
“Yeah, never tell them honestly how you think they look, even when they beg you to. They can get pretty violent,” he answered wryly.
I laughed. His expression clearly showed he had been beaten up many times by his sisters.
“What do you do, when you’re not partying in clubs, Sasha?”
“I work for an independent theatre company. I do the marketing and sales for them, but sometimes if I’m lucky I get a small part in a play.”
He looked at me with interest. “I can see you on stage. You seem to have quite a dramatic flair.”
His eyes twinkled in amusement, remembering the little speech I had given him and Josh earlier that evening in the bar. I had told them their comments about women had made me sick and I had delivered it in the style of the evil stepmother in Cinderella.
I suppressed a giggle at the memory of their horrified expressions and looked at Calum. His lips started twitching and soon we were both laughing loudly.
“You guys looked shocked – it was hysterical. I could barely keep a straight face.”
“You really laid into us. I felt like a teenager being reprimanded by my parents.” He grinned at me. “I’d like to see you on stage, one day. I bet you’re a good actress.”
His last comment pleased me for some reason. The ice between us had broken and I felt an easy camaraderie building.
“What about you, Calum? Where do you work?”
“Josh and I have our own business. We’re financial planners. We set up the Partnership six years ago. It’s been really tough at times, but we are doing pretty well now and have built up a good client base.”
I looked at him in surprise. He seemed so laid back that I did not peg him to be in the finance industry. We continued our drinks in a friendly silence and when both our glasses were empty, Calum offered to get us another round.
I shook my head. “No thanks, I’m pretty beat. I think I should head home. We started early, remember?”
He looked disappointed, but nodded in agreement and then studied my hair with a strange intensity.
What was he staring at? I was about to reach up to tuck a few loose tendrils behind my ear, when he suddenly touched the large gold barrette that was holding all my hair up. Before I could stop him, he had tugged the barrette off.
I felt my hair tumble down past my shoulders, in a mass of curls and I looked at him with my mouth open.
“What did you do that for? Now it’s a big crazy mess! I tied it up because I haven’t washed it today,” I complained and started to gather it up again with both my hands to try and tame it back in place.
He shook his head and stared at me in awe, “Leave it.”
He reached out to touch a curly strand. I sat motionless, waiting for him to make his next move. He pulled the curly hair down and released it so it sprang back up. I looked quizzically at him. “Calum?”
He shook his head slightly as though he had been in a trance, “Sorry, I’ve wanted to touch it all night. It’s so soft and beautiful…and springy.”
My breath hitched. Was he trying to seduce me? I felt something stir between my legs. My body was reacting in an unexpected way and it was not good. I did not want to be attracted to this man. He was fun to be around, but he wasn’t my type. I needed to put some distance between us and fast.
I stood up, “Please excuse me for a sec, I really need to use the washroom.” I held out my hand to him. “Can I have my barrette back please.”
He looked at the sparkly gold hair clip in his hands, shook his head imperceptibly and gave it back to me.
“Thanks. I won’t be long.” I turned and walked towards the exit.
I took a deep breath as I walked swiftly to the ladies’ washroom. This night was not turning out the way I was expecting at all. I was actually enjoying myself and Calum was full of surprises – one of which was that he seemed like a genuinely decent guy, despite first appearances.
On my way out, I saw some male eyes look me up and down appreciatively. A few of them were with female partners, but they didn’t even bother hiding their bold scrutiny. My eyes narrowed and I shot them a dirty look. They were so disrespectful to their partners and I couldn’t stand it. I had to stop myself from marching up to them and giving them a piece of my mind.
I found the washroom in the hallway. It was a small stall, with just three cubicles. There was line of two women waiting, but I didn’t need to use the toilet, I just wanted an excuse to get away from Calum and check out my insane hair. I went over to the marble sinks and peered at myself in the mirror.
“Yikes!” I yelped out loud. My green eyes looked unusually bright in the mirror and my face elvankent escort was slightly flushed, but my hair…Jesus, my hair was a fricking bird’s nest.
Damn Calum for taking the barrette out. I laid the gold clip on the side of the sink. Muttering incoherently under my breath, I turned on the tap and put some water on my hands, then used my damp fingers to try and smooth out the wild curls. I started to gather my hair up to the top of my head, turning my gaze this way and that.
A petite Asian woman wearing a short black dress came out of a toilet stall and stood next me, washing her hands very thoroughly.
I looked at her luscious, straight silky hair in envy. It reminded me a lot of Grace’s shiny locks. I grimaced at my own reflection. “I wish I had your beautiful hair.” I told her while looking at the refection of us both in the mirror.
She turned to me in surprise. “Oh, thank you! I’ve always wanted curls like yours.” She grinned. “We always want what we don’t have, right?”
She spoke with a very posh English accent, which I hadn’t been expecting at all. I smiled back at her. “You definitely don’t want this curly mess,” I said, exasperated, “I can barely tame it.”
“Oh, but I love it,” she said earnestly, “you should definitely keep it loose and free. Seems a shame to tie it all up.”
I looked at her pretty face and dark brown eyes. “You think so? The guy I’m with pulled the barrette off, just now and I’m so mad at him.”
“He knew what he was doing. Leave it down,” she insisted, “I’m Gemma, by the way,” she said, giving me a little wave hello.
Gosh, she was so sweet. I always seemed to meet the nicest girls in the washrooms.
“I’m Sasha. Pleased to meet you,” I said, giving her a warm smile.
“Ok, I’ll leave it down.”
I released the curls from my hands and watched as the tresses fell back down on my shoulders in a riot of curls.
“Much better,” said Gemma, nodding approvingly. “You look beautiful and slightly wild, but in a very good way. Your gold dress makes you really stand out too.”
“Thank you. That’s so nice of you to say.”
We both went over to the paper towel dispenser. I pulled out a towel and handed it to Gemma and took one for myself.
She thanked me and then said, “you know, I hope you won’t think this is weird and I’m not trying to come on to you, but I come to this Club most weekends with my girlfriends and you seem really nice. Maybe next time we see each other, you could come and join us?”
“Of course! That would be lovely. My friend Grace and I are here most Saturdays. We’d love to hang out with you.”
Gemma’s face broke into a wide smile and we left the washroom together. As we walked down the hall back to the entrance of the chill out zone, I stopped short.
There, casually leaning next to the doorway of the chill out zone and looking sexy as hell, was Calum.
Gemma looked at me, puzzled. She then followed my gaze towards Calum.
“Is that Adonis with you?” she asked wide-eyed.
“Fuck me, you’re in trouble,” she replied and then gave me such a dirty smile, that I started giggling.
“I think I am,” I admitted.
“You, my new friend, are in for a wild night. Say yes to everything he asks you to do!”
With that passing comment, she sauntered off, swaying her slim hips.
As she approached Calum, I heard her wolf whistle. She was so funny and I liked her already.
Calum looked nonplussed. When I reached his side, I said accusingly, “What are you doing here? Why aren’t you waiting at our table?”
“You took so long, I thought you’d bailed on me and I got a bit worried.”
Wow, Calum had a sensitive, caring side that I hadn’t expected at all.
“I wouldn’t leave without telling you. I was trying to fix my hair and I got chatting to Gemma.” I nodded in the direction of Gemma’s retreating figure.
“Oh, she’s a friend of yours? She looked at me like I was naked, which was a little intimidating.”
I smirked. “Now you know how women feel when you’re stripping us with your eyes. I’ve only just met Gemma in the washroom, but she’s hilarious.”
We started walking back to the chill out zone, but I stopped at the doorway. I was having second thoughts about spending more time with Calum and thought it was wiser to end the evening, before he got the wrong message.
“Listen, I’m feeling really tired and I should probably catch a taxi home.”
His face fell. “I’ll help you get a taxi, but how about one dance with me before you leave?” He nodded his head over to the dance floor.
There were even more couples locked in sensual embraces, dancing and many were kissing. My heart started beating faster. This was not a good idea.
“Well? What do you think? It’s just one dance…” he pleaded and held out a hand patiently.
I hesitated for a second and then put my hand in his. What the hell. It was just once dance, as he said.
We walked slowly to the dance floor, Calum’s warm fingers interlaced with mine.
Once there, he didn’t waste any time in putting his hands on my waist and drawing me closer to him. I placed my hands chastely on his shoulders and took a small step back. I did not want to give him any ideas and the thought of our bodies touching gave me butterflies.
